Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

THH Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic charitable organisation based in Batley, who are looking for a passionate Book Sorter to join their friendly and dedicated Books Department.

If you’ve ever worked in a library or bookstore, or simply have a love of books, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

As a key part of the team, you’ll help process donated books and prepare them for online listings, retail sales, or recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and categorise incoming book donations
• Maintain accurate inventories and records
• List books for sale on various online platforms
• Pick and pack books sold online
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily goals

About You:

• A genuine interest in books is essential
• Experience in a library or bookstore environment is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
