The Role
We are hiring Field Engineers to be based at the Head Office in Leeds (working across the UK). As a Field Engineer, you will collaborate with teams on various wastewater and water projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Working alongside a small team, you will install and maintain flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers in sewer pipes and rivers across the country.
Your work will directly contribute to environmental improvement efforts by assisting water companies in managing sewer networks to prevent flooding, reduce pollution, and enhance river and bathing water health.
A Typical Day for a Field Engineer
Your day will involve visiting different sites where you’ll assist your Field Crew Leader in setting up safely and then proceed to install, calibrate, or remove equipment, often within confined spaces or river environments. This may include lifting and transporting equipment from the vehicle to the designated site.
